A Delhi court on Tuesday extended the judicial custody of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Bharat Rashtra Samiti leader K Kavitha in a money laundering case related to the alleged excise scam till May 7.
The government has asked the Central Bureau of Investigation to investigate whether there is any involvement of anti-national elements, terrorist organisations and land mafia in case of an encroachment on defence land in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir.
The pleas sought a CBI or a court-monitored Special Investigation Team probe in the incident that took place in the Palghar district in April 2020.
Special Judge M K Nagpal fixed May 12 for consideration of the charge sheet after the CBI submitted that the prosecution sanction against Sisodia has already been procured from the competent authorities.
CBI sources told PTI that the investigating team went to Presidency Correctional Home and questioned Ghosh under Section 161 of CrPC (examination of witnesses by police).
